Narimanov Business Hotel

Chosen mostly for logistics. It sits on the Ataturk Avenue side of Narimanov, which puts it on the right side of the city for the airport — about twenty-five minutes rather than forty from the centre in traffic.

Rooms are mid-size, well-maintained and unremarkable. The desk is a real desk, the chair is a real chair, and the Wi-Fi is fast enough to work from all day.

Ganjlik metro is six minutes on foot and the Ganjlik Mall is next to it. Breakfast is a decent buffet from seven.
