Old City Hostel

The cheapest bed inside the Old City. Six-bed mixed dorms with proper mattresses, individual lockers, reading lights and a plug per bunk — the four things that separate a decent hostel from a bad one.

The courtyard is the whole point. There is a long table, a grapevine over the top of it, and someone cooking most evenings. The staff run a free walking tour at ten most mornings.

Shared bathrooms, shared kitchen, and it can be noisy until late — this is a hostel and makes no apology for it. Quoted rate is per bed, not per room.
